# How to Make It:

01 - Toss chicken pieces with vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated.
02 - Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame seeds in a separate bowl until well combined.
03 - Add zucchini, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and broccoli to the seasoned chicken. Pour half the hibachi sauce over the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes before cooking.
05 - Place the chicken and vegetables in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
06 - Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are crisp-tender.
07 - Transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with remaining hibachi sauce, and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with steamed rice.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The air fryer creates those beautiful caramelized edges without standing over a hot grill or stove
  • Everything cooks in one basket, meaning minimal cleanup and maximum flavor
02 -
  • Overcrowding the air fryer basket will steam your food instead of air frying it, so cook in batches for best results
  • Letting the chicken rest for 2 minutes after cooking locks in those juices and keeps every bite incredibly tender
03 -
  • Cut all vegetables to similar sizes so they finish cooking at the same time
  • Marinate the chicken in half the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking for deeper flavor penetration
