# What You Need:

→ Matcha Base

01 - 2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
02 - 2 tablespoons hot water (175°F)

→ Latte Components

03 - 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
04 - 2 teaspoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)
05 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Sift the matcha powder into a bowl or mug to remove any lumps.
02 - Add the hot water to the matcha and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk or small regular whisk until smooth and frothy.
03 - Heat the almond milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling. Alternatively, microwave for 1–2 minutes.
04 - Froth the almond milk using a milk frother or whisk until foamy.
05 - Pour the sweetener and vanilla extract into the matcha mixture, if using, and stir gently.
06 - Pour the warm, frothy almond milk over the matcha base. Stir to combine, or serve layered for presentation. Optionally, sprinkle extra matcha powder on top for garnish.
