02 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce or gluten-free tamari
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 1 tablespoon honey
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Bang Bang Sauce

09 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
10 - 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
11 - 1–2 tablespoons Sriracha, to taste
12 - 1 tablespoon honey
13 - 1 teaspoon lime juice

→ Garnish

14 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or scallions
15 - 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
16 - Lime wedges, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken pieces and toss until evenly coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
02 - If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for at least 20 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Adjust Sriracha according to preferred spicy level. Set sauce aside.
04 - Thread marinated chicken pieces securely onto skewers.
05 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat, approximately 400°F. Grill chicken skewers for 12 to 15 minutes, turning every 3 to 4 minutes, until cooked through and lightly charred.
06 - Remove skewers from the grill. Generously brush or drizzle Bang Bang sauce over the chicken.
07 - Finish with chopped cilantro or scallions, toasted sesame seeds, and serve with lime wedges as desired.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The sauce strikes that perfect balance between creamy, sweet, and just-spicy-enough that keeps everyone coming back for seconds
  • These skewers come together so quickly but taste like something from a restaurant, making you look like a grill wizard without the fuss
02 -
  • Don't skip marinating the chicken even 15 minutes makes a noticeable difference in flavor
  • The sauce needs to go on AFTER grilling to prevent the mayonnaise from separating
  • Let the skewers rest for just a couple of minutes after brushing with sauce so it can settle in
03 -
  • Space chicken pieces slightly apart on skewers so heat reaches all sides evenly
  • Make extra sauce and serve it on the side because dipping sauce always disappears first
