13 - 2 tbsp avocado oil or light olive oil

# How to Make It:

01 - Toss sliced beef with 1 tbsp coconut aminos and baking soda in a medium bowl; set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
02 - Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
03 - Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned but not fully cooked, then remove to a plate.
04 - Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to the pan. Stir in garlic, ginger, and scallions; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
05 - Add broccoli florets and 1 tbsp water. Stir-fry for 2 minutes, then cover and steam for 2–3 minutes until broccoli is crisp-tender.
06 - Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss to combine. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until beef is cooked through and sauce thickens slightly.
07 - Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra scallions or sesame seeds.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like your favorite takeout but keeps you in ketosis without any guilt or sugar crash.
  • The whole thing comes together in under thirty minutes, which means you can have dinner on the table faster than delivery.
  • Every bite has that perfect balance of tender beef, crisp vegetables, and a sauce that clings to everything just right.
02 -
  • Do not crowd the pan when searing the beef or it will steam instead of browning, and you will miss out on all that caramelized flavor.
  • Slice your beef as thin as possible against the grain, because thick slices will be chewy no matter how well you cook them.
  • Prep all your ingredients before you turn on the stove because stir frying moves fast and there is no time to chop garlic mid-recipe.
03 -
  • Freeze your beef for fifteen minutes before slicing to make it easier to cut paper-thin slices.
  • Use the hottest burner on your stove and let your pan get screaming hot before adding anything for true restaurant-style searing.
  • Taste the sauce before adding it to the pan and adjust the sweetness or salt to your preference.
