# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The roasted jalapenos lose that raw bite but keep this incredible smoky sweetness that people cannot quite identify
  • You can assemble everything ahead and bake it right when guests arrive
02 -
  • Letting the cream cheese sit on the counter for a full hour prevents those tiny unblended lumps that ruin the texture
  • Roasting the jalapenos at high heat first, then lowering the oven for the dip itself gives you the best of both techniques
03 -
  • Grate your own cheese from blocks instead of buying pre shredded bags which contain anti caking agents that prevent smooth melting
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment before roasting the jalapenos for effortless cleanup
